My areas of interest include artisan production processes and the role of food in identity and memory. I have a masters degree in the anthropology of food from SOAS.

My passions range wildly but include good coffee, flamenco dance, misty weather, and men in wooly sweaters. I live in Seattle.

  1. You are right, cake has to be the most hypocritical of food all ‘gong an no desert’! The proverbial wedding cake falls into the category of
    just another thing crossed off the wedding’ to do’ list. Looking forward to THAT cake at Christmas!
